ICC declares new rules for ODI, Test & T20

For long time the decision was pending on the side of ICC regarding new rules in international cricket to increase the interset of people in this game. Now ICC has approved the implementation of new rules from the date. According to new rules now Day/ Night test cricket can be conducted on the common approval of both the playing team management. Also now there will be only two powerplays in ODI games rather than three power play. According to new rule, third umpire if thinks that Batsman is not out then he can directly make it notice to ground umpires to change their decision. Though decision on color of ball is yet not finalized.

Sydney Sixers wins Champions League T20 2012

After two weeks of long pretty short tournament of T20 Champions League, Sydney Sixers has won the tournament from Highfield Lions with 10 wickets. Sydney Sixers were unbeaten in whole tournament and were never the favorite of the tournament but they really played brilliantly. Indian club teams totally failed to deliver their best and only Delhi Daredevils of four Indian team had reached the semi finals and lost it to Highfield Lions.

England team arrived India for long season

England cricket team has arrived India for four test matches, five ODI matches and two T20 matches. This is a long three month tour for England and it is really going to be very competitive for them as it is never easy to defeat India in India. Indian team is also practicing at MCA for the match. England is playing with three different captains for three formats. Andrew Strauss is going to lead test team, Alister Cook is to lead ODI team and Stuart Broad to lead T20 team.

Indian selectors showed lack of sportsmanship

Indian board has organized practice match for England team before they meet the Team India. Indian selectors has selected a practice team for England which is gonna lead by Suresh Raina including Yuvraj Singh in team. Raina said that he has not forgotten the insulting defeat in England and therefore he is well prepared for English team.

Lance Armstrong banned to lifetime from any event

American champion cyclist Lance Armstrong has been banned for doping and has been restricted from participating any tournament in future. Association has also decided to recall all the honors from him. Lance Armstrong has made a blasting comeback after suffering from cancer and won Tour De France Championship> he was inspiration for many sports person but now after this event he has lost his image in sporting world.

Sebatian Vettel wins Indian Grand Prix 2012

Second Indian Grand Prix was awaited by most of the speed freak Indian and as it was assumed and predicted this race is also won by Sebastian Vettel. Sebastian has won continuously two Indian Grand Prix. Indian team Sahara Force India was on the 9th position which was quite satisfying for Indians. The most disappointing thing was about Michale Shumacker was in his last race of career and unfortunately disqualified in between due to accident.

Sachin to be honored with ‘Order Of Australia’ award for his achievements.

Australian Prime Minister has announced in her visit to India that Sachin Tendulkar will be awarded with the Australia’s greatest award ‘Order of Australia’. This news has pleased millions of Sachin’s fan all around the world. Indian Government has welcomed and appreciated this move of Australian Government. Aussie PM said “Sachin Tendulkar is the greatest cricketer ever and has make proud the cricket. He has been a brand ambassador for International Cricket and he deserves this award.” She also said “This will improve the relations between the two nations”

KKR is out of Champions League’s semi final race, no wins in three matches

 IPL 2012 winner Kolkata Knight Riders are eliminated from Champions League T20 2012 from the group stages. This is really very astonishing for millions of KKR fans. KKR has played 3 of their 4 league matches and they have not won even a single one, two they have lost and one match was abandoned due to rain. Well there are many factors that has affected KKR performance. Captain Gautam Gambhir is running out of form which is really very threatening for not only KKR but also for Team India because India has to play England in November. Wrong team combination and strategies are also responsible for their losses.   

Indian club teams are struggling to search out a win in CLT20 2012

Champions League T20 is a joint venture of BCCI and South African Cricket Board. Though BCCI has the maximum shares therefore maximum teams are from India. This year it was 4 of 8 club teams were from India. IPL Champion KKR, runners up Chennai Super Kings, Semi Finalists Delhi Daredevils and Mumbai Indians and therefore it was assumed that this time also CLT20 cup will remain in India only but the performance till date changes the mind set. KKR is out of competition, Mumbai and Chennai are almost out as one loss will make them out of tournament. Delhi has played two in which one they have won and second was abondend due to rain. But the match they won was against KKR therefore it is not easy to say that they can make to finals. Therefore highly sponsored, branded, promoted filled with stars Indian club teams have failed to do as their image.

Yuvraj slams double hundred in domestic cricket, claims to back in test squad.

Yuvraj Singh after beating cancer has made his way to ground in World T20 and he has proved his self over there. Though with bat he was not so impressive but with ball he made some games for India. Now he was aiming to make a comeback in Indian ODI & Test squad but he need to prove his skill therefore he focused on domestic cricket. In a match against South Zone he made a knock of 218 not out which was enough to prove that he is ready for ODI and Test matches.

Australian media and ex players opposing to award Sachin with greatest honor.

One side Australian Prime Minister announces to award Sachin Tendulkar with Order Of Australia and Indian and world media is appreciating this move, other side Australian media and former cricketers are opposing this. Australian Media reported that PM is just doing to impress Indian Government and for political benefits whereas former Aussie cricketer Mathew Heyden said that Sachin does nto deserve this award as this award should only be given to Australian citizen. He said that whatever Sachin has achieved he has done for his country not for Australia then why he is been given this award. He even said that if Aussie PM is so much impressed with Sachin then she should appoint Sachin as Australian Prime Minister.
